STAYING SAFE
& STARTING OVER
STAYING SAFE DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC
In March 2020 Many American states seeing the effect of the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic and many communities were in a state of Emergency.
We were asked to close businesses and only leave our home if it were essential to our lives.
As a domestic violence surviving widow, I could not imagine what that meant for the abused & the bereaved.
In order to keep one another safe, most of us are being asked to go into social distancing. Some, may not have a safe space to do so.
I have been there before and I wanted to research a list of resources in the United States for victims of abuse. These resources will include some I have used before. My local Police Department was also a huge help.
You'll find some options include Texting Help as Well as Depression helplines.
We're a resilient people, we will get to the otherside of this pandemic and the torments of our day.
